Claiming on your insurance

It is important that you advise us of your claim as soon as possible. Delays could prejudice your claim. You must also;

  • Take all reasonable steps to prevent any further loss 

  • In the case of a burglary / theft / malicious damage, the incident should be reported to the police

  • In the case of a liability claim - do not admit liability

 We will:

  • Provide you with emergency instructions at the time of loss 

  • Provide claim forms or advice on phone lodging new claims 

  • Advise you on what documents will be required to support your claim 

  • Submit claims directly to the Insurer in a detailed and professional manner 

  • Inform you on how the claim is progressing when required 

  • Recommend the appointment of other professional advisers if necessary 

  • Actively work with your Insurer or their agent to resolve and negotiate claims effectively and promptly 

  • Arrange for progressive payments for large claims 

  • Ensure timely receipt of settlement cheques from your Insurer 

  • Ongoing reviews of the claim at hand to ensure the procedure is travelling smoothly
